Cabrini Cheerleaders are a nationally ranked team and have placed in the top 5 at every competition, locally, regionally and nationally, in the last 5 years. Crescent Cheerleaders practice year round in order to perform at the highest quality. During the summer the cheerleaders practice 3 days per week for 2 hours per day. The cheerleaders also participate in a bootcamp run by Nicky Valenti '05, this bootcamp prepares the girls for the rigorous routines they must perform to perfection throughout the year. The cheerleaders attend all home games for the Volleyball and Basketball teams. It is also mandatory for all cheerleaders to participate in all pep rallies, Homecoming game, Open House, Paint the Gym Pink, Christmas on the Bayou, all 3 Mardi Gras Parades, Bayou Bash, Moss Street Mingle, Dance and Cheer Clinic, and any other school function where cheerleaders are needed. The cheerleaders usually compete in 3 competitions during the year, 2 local and 1 national. Cabrini Cheerleaders also participate in community events such as Save the Lake, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, and any others that arise through the year. Crescent Cheerleaders are well respected around the school and in the community. The cheerleaders will strive to the best for many more years to come!
