CABRINI VOLUNTEERS
 
In order to assist the Louisiana Children's Museum celebrate Mexican culture on Thursday afternoon, freshmen Angelina Cardenez and Ashley Mitchell along with junior Ana Cabello lent a hand.  Our Crescents made marionettes and sombreros for young museum visitors to keep.
 
SAT Word Du Jour: reign (RAIN) - the time during which a king, queen, or emperor has the supreme authority; dominance or widespread influence Examples: When all the slaves were freed, we knew the tyrant’s reign of terror was over.  The king’s reign was cut short when he was assassinated by a revolutionary.


CABRINI ALGEBRA TEACHER ANN LUKE (center) WAS HONORED ON THURSDAY EVENING AS A MATHEMATICS TEACHER OF DISTINCTION FOR 2008 BY THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS.
