March 1, 2017More than half of the 32 Cabrini students who competed in the Literary District Rally qualified to the State Literary Rally competition at Louisiana State University to be held April 1, 2017.
The 16 Crescents and their area advancing to State competition include First Place finishers: Hannah Brayden’19, Business Computer App; Taylor Rogge’17, Accounting; Marielle Scott’17, Psychology.
Second Place Finishers: Jianna Collins’20, Spanish III; Victoria Duke’20, Spanish II; Katie Heller’20, Biology 1; Kristen Lonsberry’17, Calculus 1; Marie Polk’17, Biology II; Savannah Schenck’20, French II.
Third Place Finishers include: Caroline Allen’20, Civics; Bailey Chauvin’18, Journalism I; Sydnee Glass’19, Spanish IV; Abigail Markey’19,English III; Megan Nelson’18, Fine Arts Survey; Mary Roach’20, English I; Cydney St. Junior’20, Health; Karen Vo’19, Chemistry.
District and State Rally moderator Velinda Mascorro’89 and chaperone Anne Jeanmard, attended the annual Literary District Rally at Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, LA.
