Two Recipients Awarded Alumnae Legacy Scholarship

Amber Pitre '19, daughter of Charlene Gardebled Pitre '86 and sister of Heather Pitre '21, and Angelina Hull '19, sister of Holly Hull Bertuglia '00, were selected by the Cabrini Alumnae Association Executive Board to receive the 2018-2019 Alumnae Legacy Scholarship.

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a current or incoming student in 8th through 12th grade whose mother, grandmother, or sister attended Cabrini. Amber and Angelina were selected from a number of applicants based on recommendations and actions demonstrating excellence in character, leadership, academics, and service in the spirit of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini.

They were required to submit a written essay and have a personal interview. Both recipients demonstrated hard work, compassion, and a love of Cabrini High School through their performances in school, co-curricular activities, and service work.

They were presented the scholarship by Alumnae Association Board President Natalie Natal Tatje '81 and Treasurer Jane Dabdoub Bartlett '70.
