Olivia Oser, a graduate of the Class of 2012, has been named the new Director of Alumnae for Cabrini High School.
“I am overjoyed to begin this new chapter with Cabrini,” said Oser upon the announcement. “I love Cabrini because it feels like home. I am comfortable here, and everyone feels like family. I know I will be able to grow and develop my career with positive people all around me.”
Throughout high school, Oser was very involved at Cabrini. She was a member of numerous clubs, including Student Council and Cheerleading, where she was the captain her senior year. After graduation, Oser attended Nicholls State University for two years before transferring to Delgado Community College, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
After graduating from college, Oser found her passion in event planning. She recently has worked as an Executive Assistant for Benefit Planning Group and as an Assistant Coordinator for Elizabeth Burkhardt Weddings and Events.
According to Oser, “I’ve returned to Cabrini many times as an alumna, but I am excited to now be on campus full-time. I’m eager to start learning about my role and digging into my responsibilities. I love planning events, and I am a people person so I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me. I also cannot wait to work with the amazing women on the Alumnae Board and all of the Cabrini alumnae.”
In her new position, Oser will be a liaison between alumnae and Cabrini High School. She will plan, promote, and implement alumnae programs that support Cabrini High School, recruit alumnae volunteers for events, and maintain regular communication with alumnae.
Regarding the announcement, Cabrini’s President Jack Truxillo said, “Olivia’s organizational and interpersonal skills, related experience and love for Cabrini High School will serve her well as Alumnae Director.”
