Six Students Compete at Foreign Language Festival

Friday, March 31st, a group of Spanish students represented Cabrini at the 35th Southeastern University Foreign Language Festival. They were accompanied by their teachers Mrs. Vivian Coutin and Mrs. Maria A. Fuertes-Andurand.

They competed in the following categories (from left to right): Evelyn Enrique, Spanish IV Poetry; Amanda Santos de Oliveira, Spanish III Extemporaneous Speaking; Abigail Markey, Spanish III Singing; Kristalyne Stewart, Spanish I Poetry; Sydnee Glass, Spanish IV Extemporaneous Speaking, and Marielle Lambert-Scott: Spanish II Poetry.

And they did amazing! Congratulations on their great performances!

Special honors went to Abigail Markey who placed 1st in Spanish III Singing; Amanda Santos de Oliveira who placed 1st in Spanish III Extemporaneous Speaking, and Marielle Lambert-Scott who placed 2nd in Spanish II Poetry
