A Prayer Service, Ring Ceremony, and Reception honored the Cabrini High State Champion Swimmers.
All five Cabrini Swimmers won the 2016 LHSAA Division II State Championship in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:40.99 setting a new LHSSA Division II record in that event.
Freshman Gabriella O'Neil won three state championships out of the four events in which she competed at the state meet. In addition to being a member of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that won the Division II State Championship, she won two individual state championships in the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke. The Relay teams of Madisyn England’19, Sarah Keith’19, Kathryn Mipro’19, O’Neil, and Catherine Wellborn’18 took home State Championship crowns in the 200 Freestyle and Madisyn England, Sarah Keith, Kathryn Mipro, Gabriella O’Neil, in the 400 Freestyle.
