Five teams of Cabrini students have been selected as finalists for the 2019 Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, sponsored by Junior Achievement and The Brees Dream Foundation. The students attended a press conference with Drew Brees on December 11 to formally announce and congratulate all of the finalists.
The weather outside may have been frightful, but the entertainment was so delightful! Everyone enjoyed the festivities of Christmas on the Bayou (in the gym)!
Students participated in Dressember on December 7 by paying $1 to dress up with dignity, modesty, femininity, and their own fashion to advocate for the inherent dignity of all women. This was Cabrini's fifth year participating in the national fundraiser.
The birthday celebrations at Cabrini High School continued with the June and December Birthday with the Principal on December 6! Students enjoyed pizza, cupcake decorating, games, and Christmas karaoke.
To show appreciation for the men and women who patrol and keep the Cabrini community safe, students, faculty, and staff gifted the NOPD officers of the First District with desserts and treats.
Three of our Cabrini students placed on the regional level of the No Place for Hate Art and Poetry Contest. The theme was "Fighting Hate for Good - What Superpower Will Help Your Community?"
