Spring Play -  Newsies!

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys’ expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action. With help from the beautiful female reporter Katherine Plumber, all of New York City soon recognizes the power of “the little man.”

The Art Show will include displays and artwork from students in Art I & II, and Art Across the Curriculum.

Play Info to Know:

• Space is limited. Purchase tickets today. Ticket sales will close three hours before each showing (4:00 p.m. for 7:00 p.m. showing). Tickets can be purchased at the door if ticket sales have closed.
• Visitors can park inside the Cabrini parking lot and check in at the entrance to the gymansium theatre in the Moss Street buidling above the cafeteria.
• Please arrive at Cabrini at least 15 minutes before the scheduled showing. The play will begin on time.
