Our beloved friend and classmate, Vanessa Wolff '01, was killed by a drunk driver on October 21, 2006. It is in her name that we establish this scholarship fund to benefit students of Cabrini High School.
The vision for the Vanessa Lauren Wolff Scholarship Fund is to encourage our future daughters to stop drunk driving. Continuing to consistently achieve Respect, Excellence, and Service in all aspects of our lives, we can foresee this endowed scholarship outlasting ourselves and our daughters.
Cabrini High School has a strong and ongoing program to educate young women and their parents about the dangers of alcohol use and abuse. The Class of 2001 will award this scholarship annually during Cabrini’s SADA (Students Against Drugs and Alcohol) Red Ribbon Week in October. Scholarships will be awarded based on an essay contest.
One $500 scholarship will be awarded.
